End of school year activities 2012

Jacob had his end of school music concert. I didn't get a very good picture of him, put you can see his eyes sparkle. Jacob did a great job!

Andrew had his 2nd grade field day. It is fun to go and watch the different activities. He had to try and climb the basketball hoop pole

Andrew jumped to touch the bar. Then they would rise the bar and have the kids see how high they could get.

Andrew kicking the football to see how far he can get it to go.

Jacob, Danny and Nate did a great job at cheering on their big brother.

Jacob had a great year in Kindergarten. It was fun to attend his "graduation". His class sang a couple of songs and then the teacher handed out their "diplomas".

Each of the kids put on the board their favorite thing of the year.

 Jake's teacher, Mrs. Tax.

Jake's good friend, Wyatt.
Jake's class had lots of boys in it. He had lots of boys to play super heroes with at recess.

Jacob had a great school year. He made lots of new friends and loved going to school on Monday, Wednesday, & Friday. He is looking forward to first grade so he can go to school every day. He is also excited that he will be able to sit ANYWHERE on the bus and not have to sit in the front seat.

Andrew also had a great school in year 2nd grade. He started the year not knowing any of the kids in his class. He has ended the year making some really great new friends.

We are all looking forward to a FUN summer break!

Favorite moment as a Mom

It was awfully quiet in the bathroom. I called up to Danny to see what was taking him so long, he didn't answer.  I went up, and found that he had fallen asleep while going to the bathroom. I love that he is holding on with his hands, so he doesn't tip over!

Andrew's 8th birthday party

For Andrew's 8th birthday party, we took all the boys in his school class bowling.

 Jacob and his great form!

Danny needed a little help. Thanks Dad for the extra push.

All these boys put away a lot of pizza and soda.

Jacob and Danny ate their fair share of pizza.
I was very impressed with all the boys from school. Andrew has a lot of really nice boys in his class.

Other than getting baptized, Andrew was most excited about starting scouts and getting to go with Doug to the church each Wednesday night. At his first pack meeting I got my first Mother's pin...the first of MANY!

Andrew's Baptism

Andrew was SO excited to get baptized.

We were blessed to have all 4 grandparents there.
Grandpa Stott talked about the baptism.
Grandma Hobbs talked about the Holy Ghost.
We sang as a family, Families can be Together Forever.
Doug baptized Andrew and gave him the gift of the Holy Ghost
I was the member of the primary presidency that welcomed him to our ward.

We had many wonderful friends and neighbors who came to support Andrew.
The Hess Family all came.
From the ward: Salisbury's, Brother Braun, Kachers, Brother Bringhurst and Greenwoods all came too.

We had cookies after the baptism.
We headed home and changed our clothes and then went to Red Robin for lunch.

It was nice to come home after lunch and enjoy the sweet spirit that was in our home. I'm so proud of Andrew and the good example he is for his little brothers.

Andrew also got some really nice gifts. Our neighbors the Bach's were unable to come, so they gave Andrew 2 books and $20.

We really have the best neighbors in the whole world!

Grandma and Grandpa Hobbs gave Andrew a nice picture for his room.
Grandma and Grandpa Stott  gave him a memory book about his baptism.
