Too smart for his own good:)

Yesterday was Andrew’s first track and field day. I took the three boys and we went and watched Andrew. It was really fun to see him interact with his friends at school.
After track and field, I told him we could go to the grocery store and get some ice cream bars. He was excited to get to choose whatever he wanted. Once we got to the store, I showed him what he could choose. He stood there for awhile trying to decide what ones he wanted. I started to get impatient and told him to HURRY! He finally chose and said he wanted the fudge bars that had 20 in the package. I told him he could have the same thing, just in the package that came with 6. He said he didn’t want those. I tried to explain that they were the SAME, just one package had more. Then he started to cry and said he didn’t want the box with only 6 because everyone would only get one, except for Dad who would get 2. I had a hard time not laughing. I let him choose something else that had 12 in the box and all was well.

Easter weekend

The Easter Bunny came to visit us on Saturday. The boys got up early and were excited to find where the Easter Bunny had hid their baskets in the house. Andrew's was hidden in the bottom of the garbage. Jacob's was hidden in the curtains and Danny's was hidden under the table.
The boys were disappointed that there weren't any eggs hidden outside, so I took the boys upstairs in my room and read some Easter stories so the Easter Bunny could come and hide the eggs outside. When they came downstairs to eat breakfast, they were thrilled that the Easter Bunny had come again and hid eggs outside.

After we ate breakfast, we drove into Edina and went to The Works Museum. It is a science museum. At first the boys weren't too excited, but then they found this table where you build a ramp to put a marble down. They LOVED this part!

Sunday after church and a good Sunday nap, we drove to the Carver County Reserve and had our dinner. After we ate we went for a nice walk around the Reserve. It was a beautiful day for a nice long walk! What a wonderful Easter weekend!

I also have to add this CUTE picture of Danny. He is reading a book to his moose and Uniqua.

This video was taken when Nathan was almost 8 weeks old. I was trying to get ready to go somewhere so Jacob was taking care of Nathan. I was trying to hurry, so that is why I can't call my boys by the right name.
